John Rosefield, Chairman – Estates & Agency Group
John has been a director of The Endeavour Company Holdings Limited (and its predecessors) since 1971 and since that time has been key to the management of the businesses that today make up the Estates & Agency Group. He has served as Chairman of Estates & Agency Holdings Plc, of Western Motor Holdings Plc and of the Dokimas Group Limited until its sale of the latter in 2008.
Before joining the business, John was educated at St Paul’s School, London and gained a BA (Hons) in Jurisprudence from Oxford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School 1967-69. John has served as a Director/Trustee of several academic, music and charitable organisations.
Stephen Rosefield, Director– Estates & Agency Group
Stephen has been a non-executive director of the Estates & Agency Group since 1988 and became a part-time executive director in 2004. He has been a full time director since 2008.
Previously, Stephen enjoyed a long and successful legal career. He was a Partner at the leading London commercial law firm, Paisner and Co from 1980 to 1999 and Managing Partner from 1999 to 2001. Stephen played a key role in the merger to create the new global law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner (now BCLP) in 2001, where he was Co- Chairman and Head of Merger Integration until 2002. He went on to head up their successful Property Department until 2004 and combined his role within the Estates & Agency Group with being Deputy Head of the Finance Department until 2007.
Stephen was educated at St Paul’s School, London and gained a BA (Hons) in Jurisprudence from Oxford University.
Stephen has served as director/trustee of several academic, music and charitable organisations.
Jim Winstanley – Non Executive Director
Jim joined E&A as a Non-Executive Director in early 2017. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services practice for six years and before that, he held a number of operating and financial roles, including Finance Director of EY’s regional practice.
Prior to joining EY, Jim held a number of finance and tax roles with the Schlumberger Group, including the Financial Controllership of South East Asia division for land seismic acquisition and data processing services.
Jim is a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) and also possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.
Echo Chong, Head of Finance
Echo has 20 years of experience in financial services in public and private sectors, ranging from audits, statutory accounting, tax advisory, and management reporting. Following the completion of her Executive MBA at Imperial Business School London, she joined the Wellcome Trust in 2007 working on their £13 billion investment portfolio. In 2014, Echo moved on to Greystar Europe Holdings Limited, when the company first entered into the UK market, and played a key role in their expansion. She worked as Regional Financial Controller of their London portfolio.
In 2017, Echo joined Estates & Agency Group as Head of Finance.
Simon Long, Head of Property Management
Simon has worked for over 30 years in the commercial property sector. His experience ranges from rating and lease consultancy to specialising in property management. He has have led Property Management teams for West End consultancies such as Cyril Leonard and Robert Irving Burns before moving to a client side role. He has advised a range of household named clients including Brunei Investment Authority, Helical Bar, RReef, Alstom and The British Council.
In 2018 Simon joined the Estates and Agency Group as Head of Property Management.
